Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tied the knot with a second wedding ceremony in Paris, France, nearly a week ago, but we've only just begun to obsess over her jaw-dropping Louis Vuitton wedding dress.
It was just yesterday that Turner, 23, Jonas, 29, and Louis Vuitton Creative Director Nicolas GhesquiГЁre gave us our first up-close and personal look at both the front and back of the gown, which featured lace sleeves, a plunging neckline, an embroidered bodice and a full princess skirt with a wide leather belted sash at the waist.
Thanks to GhesquiГЁre, who dubbed his muse an "Absolute beauty," we know it also showcased a partially open back beneath a delicate, snowflake-like veil that boasted heavy floral embroidery at its base.
Now that we've glimpsed this work of art in all its glory, we can move on to fully appreciating the insane amount of work that went into making it. Let's break it down, shall we?
According to Us Weekly, the designer masterpiece took more than 350 hours to assemble, with even more time-1,050 hours, to be exact-spent on its intricacies ahead of putting it together.
There were certainly plenty of details to attend to: The gown's fabric alone, which was comprised of 14 meters of embroidered tulle, took 75 hours of digital design to arrange the pattern of more than 650,000 stitches.
Things only got more complex from there. The magazine reports that each of the dress's panels was adorned with 50,400 crystal eclats and 50,400 white beads. Yowza!
Then, of course, there was the matter of the veil, which featured a hand-cut hem for an “irregular finish” and hand-cut thread between each and every flower sewn onto it, which equated to 48 full hours of embroidery.
It's certainly a far cry from the simple-but-gorgeous flowy Bezva silk jumpsuit Turner walked down the aisle in for her first quickie wedding ceremony in Las Vegas to marry to the middle Jonas brother, which rang in at just $650.
While there's no word on how much the bride's Louis Vuitton piece cost, we'd be willing to bet that for the Game of Thrones alum, who will be looking back on it for a lifetime, it's priceless.
